I’ve been a fan of !!! for a handful of years, and their funk-inspired soundscape keeps me head bobbin’ and foot tappin’.
One of my fondest memories of !!! was during my road trip from Houston, TX back to Vancouver, WA. After leaving Los Angeles, I almost ran out of gas in some mountain pass. !!! was spinning in my CD player, so now I associate them with the panic and dread I felt at that time. Yes, the emotions tied with the band are typically considered negative, but that’s no problem - I still dig them.
