Coheed and Cambria’s Second Stage Turbine Blade was an album that came out of no where. I remember hearing about them during my senior year in high school, but it was not until my freshman year of college that I tried them out.
While poking around the local record store (yeah, I don’t remember what those are either) in Abilene, TX, I happened upon their first album in an “emo” section. I thought their name sounded familiar, so I bought it. Good choice, Beau.
Over the next few months, Coheed and Cambria was all I listened to. For the last eight years, I have always checked out their newest release, and I’m generally happy with what they’re doing musically.
Today’s Song of the Day is “Everything Evil” from Second Stage Turbine Blade.
