Q and Not U is another band I discovered while living in Houston. From Washington DC, Q and Not U is a band from the Fugazi school of thought. Hell, before they broke up, they were even on Dischord Records, the record label that was co-founded by Fugazi frontman, Ian MacKaye.
Their final release before breaking up, Power, was slightly different from their previous records, but it’s my definite favorite. Hell, they used an ocarina on some of the tracks. That’s legit.
